Sabatini beat Chepe Mariscal over three rounds in New York and handed him his first UFC loss. The win was significant because Mariscal's pace and willingness to scramble made it one of the better tests of whether Sabatini's positional game still held up against a surging featherweight.
Key moments
- Won a unanimous decision over Chepe Mariscal at UFC 322.
- Handed Mariscal his first defeat inside the UFC.
- Gave Sabatini a third straight victory.
