Rębecki stayed competitive in a close three-round fight with Klein, but the decision went against him and extended his uneven UFC stretch. • The fight earned another Fight of the Night bonus for Rębecki.
  • It gave him back-to-back decision losses before the Dawson bout.

  • The fight earned Fight of the Night and was widely treated as one of 2024's best UFC wars.

The Read

Style, strengths, and defining traits.

Rębecki fights like a compact pressure lightweight who expects exchanges to get messy and is comfortable winning them there. He throws hard, wrestles in bursts, and has enough submission skill to punish opponents who overreact once the fight hits the mat. The shorter frame means he often has to cross open space against bigger UFC lightweights, but it also makes him difficult to move once he decides to drive forward.

His career before the UFC was full of championship control in FEN, and the UFC version has carried the same violence even when the results split both ways. The wins over Loik Radzhabov, Roosevelt Roberts and Myktybek Orolbai showed why he is dangerous to anyone willing to brawl with him, while the losses to Carlos Diego Ferreira, Chris Duncan, Ludovit Klein and Grant Dawson showed the price he pays when pace, range or late grappling turns against him.
