The Read
Style, strengths, and defining traits.
On 25 July 2026 at UFC Abu Dhabi, Dustin Jacoby lost to Muhammad Saidov by KO/TKO (strikes) · R2 4:49.
Jacoby's game still looks like a kickboxer built for small gloves, which is why the stance, jab and kicking volume tend to shape his fights before the wrestling layer ever matters. He is at his best when he can stay long, punish entries and turn opponents into stationary targets for combinations rather than scramble-heavy exchanges.
His UFC return worked because that striking translated better the second time around than it did in his first run. Wins over Vitor Petrino, Kennedy Nzechukwu and Da Un Jung kept him relevant deep into his thirties, while the losses also showed he remains hittable enough that his margin narrows when opponents can force him into uglier fights.
