McGregor needed only one round to announce himself. He claimed the center immediately, kept Brimage on the end of the southpaw left hand and punished every attempt to rush the pocket. Once Brimage's feet squared up near the fence, McGregor exploded with a clean flurry, dropped him and forced the stoppage with follow-up punches at 1:07.
