Chandler opened with his usual explosiveness, pressuring into clinches and looking to make Pimblett defend wrestling immediately. Pimblett stayed composed, framed off the fence and began answering with elbows and straight shots. Chandler had control moments, but Pimblett’s length and cleaner offense kept him from owning the round outright.

Pimblett took over in the second round by making Chandler wrestle without giving him the payoff. He repeatedly worked back to better positions, then used elbows and top pressure to force Chandler into defensive reactions.
