0:26Round 1
Song started by attacking O’Malley’s legs and trying to make the longer striker reset before he could build combinations. O’Malley answered with kicks and long left hands, but Song’s compact pressure and late takedown gave him meaningful scoring moments. The first round established the fight’s central tension: O’Malley’s range against Song’s power, kicks and wrestling threat.
6:04Round 2
Song leaned harder into wrestling in round two, mixing level changes with looping power and forcing O’Malley to defend along the fence. O’Malley landed clean counters and stayed dangerous from both stances, but Song’s takedown work and pressure made the round competitive. The late grappling control gave Song his strongest argument on the cards.
10:52Round 3
O’Malley produced his clearest round in the third, moving better, landing straight left hands and punishing Song as the exchanges opened up. Song still marched forward and landed knees and single shots, but O’Malley bloodied him and finished with sharper combinations. All three judges scored the fight 29-28 for O’Malley by unanimous decision.
