0:08Round 1

McGregor took the initiative early, owning the visual range of the fight with the southpaw left hand and enough stance-switching variety to keep Holloway reactive. Holloway answered with body kicks and a willingness to exchange, but McGregor landed the cleaner counters and looked more comfortable dictating where the pocket opened.

5:15Round 2

The second round was Holloway's most competitive striking spell, with the right hand and body work starting to puncture McGregor's rhythm. McGregor still had the sharper single shots and eventually changed the terms with a takedown and top control near the horn, stealing back the round's momentum by finishing on the mat.

10:22Round 3

McGregor closed the fight by mixing his range striking with more grappling control. Holloway kept working and showed the toughness that would define his career, but McGregor repeatedly forced him to defend instead of freely building volume. By the final bell the cleaner early boxing and the late top control had secured the unanimous decision.
