Temirov is an Uzbek flyweight finisher whose record is built around fast punching stoppages and a compact UFC sample. Sherdog listed him at 19-3 going into Abu Dhabi, with eleven knockout or TKO wins, one submission and seven decisions, and his first two UFC appearances were a debut TKO of C. J. Vergara followed by a decision over Charles Johnson.
