- Submitted Max Griffin at 1:56 of the third round.
- The finish gave Chiesa back-to-back wins after the Tony Ferguson fight.

The Read
Style, strengths, and defining traits.
Chiesa spent the best part of his UFC run as a long, chain-wrestling grappler who could turn one clean entry into a backpack ride or a quick choke. The striking was never the headline, but the length, control and patience usually gave him enough time to make the grappling phase happen.
The late-career version was defined by the welterweight move and one last surge after the 2023 Holland loss. Wins over Tony Ferguson, Max Griffin, Court McGee and Niko Price gave him a strong closing run before UFC's athlete page moved him to retired status after the 2026 Seattle finish.
