The UFC-signing story is unusually clear. MMA Junkie reported that Leka beat Azamat Nuftillaev by unanimous decision on Dana White's Contender Series in October 2025 but did not get a contract, then forced the issue by stretching his winning streak to six with victories in Brave CF and ARMMADA before finally getting the August 2026 homecoming debut in Belgrade. His original opponent, Max Gimenis, withdrew injured and was replaced by Alexander Poppeck on 23 July.
